Young Minds have been an active supporter of Square Peg for some time, not only signing our support letter, but giving us the original idea and helping us create something short and to the point. On 18 August 2020, Emma Thomas, Young Minds CEO, wrote an open letter to Gavin Williamson, asking that mental health be given priority when term starts in September, that parents should not be fined on account of their child's mental health and that in the longer term there needs to be a review of attendance codes and policies since "too many children fall foul of the current system". Thank you Nick Harrop & Young Minds for your continuing support of this issue (and for mentioning Square Peg and Not Fine in School!)
