We're delighted to have been invited onto Dr James Mannion's Rethinking Education podcast, which was shared on 12 June. You can access it here. It's a LONG listen (just over 3 hours) but we covered a huge amount of ground, focused very much on the barriers to attendance (the who, why and what to do about it) as well as the need for education reform.
We have also just become a Big Education Conversation Partner and Ellie recently took part in a Big Education Conversation/Tortoise Media event on 'Schooling after the virus: can we build it back better?'. In addition, she has been an active participant in both the Labour Policy Forum on Education and the CYPMH's (Children & Young People's Mental Health Coalition) Behaviour & Mental Health Roundtable, chaired by Sir Norman Lamb. And as part of the Big Education Conversation, we're partnering with Rethinking Education on James Mannion's Campfire Conversation this Saturday (26 June) from 12 noon - 1:15 so do join in via the Rethinking Education Facebook Group.
We've just delivered our first paid training session to a group of Educational Psychologists, have an opportunity to work on a follow-up film with the BBC producer we worked with in 2019 and are finalising the last few contributors for our Square Pegs book which is designed to help school leaders do the right thing by their square pegs.
So much to do and so little time!
