Square Peg and Not Fine In School are delighted to have received so much coverage on BBC TV and radio last Thursday, 19 September. The piece was instigated by our petition for a new holding code (https://you.38degrees.org.uk/petitions/create-a-new-absence-code-for-school-refusal) and an ongoing campaign, plus our CrowdJustice funding to explore a legal challenge around the DfE's current attendance policy and absence codes.
